Mediations, appropriations and senses of the city in the case of the pilgrims to the cult of the Milagro in Salta, Argentina
Abstract
The work starts from an interdisciplinary perspective to resume a religious practice in northwestern Argentina: the pilgrimage of the Miracle in Salta. The approach tries to analyze how the pilgrim body is constructed in the mediatic and devotional discourse referred to the case. From there, the way in which the press statements have inscriptions of religious discourse and crystallized the ritual is explored. In the voices of the pilgrims, the senses overflow, which allows us to think about the dispute for representations and identities that account for mediations.Downloads
