Abstract

In the context of a nihilism which is a grave threat to reason, I ponder that thinking of human rights etsi Deus daretur would be more reasonable and allow to face more appropiately many challenges. As for the educational liberty, we need more public discourse about the nature of the education as a juridical good and of the freedom of teaching, about the sense of pluralism and toleration, and about the roll of the State. A vigorous and lively democracy requires respect for and promotion of strong identities.
