Ensayo Sísmico de Estructuras.
Abstract
Ihis work gives a joint view of the three main existing methodologies br the seismie testing of structures in laboratory. Quasi-static tests are appropriate for the characterising of the behaviour of elements or structures and can be applied to large specimens rendering high accuracy measurements. Qn the other hand, shaking-table tests may give the real dynamic response to a specified earthquake, but are limited to small models. Finally, pseudodynamic E Javier Molina Ruiz y otros Ensayo Sísmico de Estructuras tests combine in principIe the advantages of both quasi-static and shakingtable tests since they can be applied to large specimens rendering with high accuracy the response to an earthquake. In order to show the application of these testing techniques, some examples are commented herein as well as the obtained results. 1.Downloads
