Abstract
HP communications (3-30 MHz) have not been object of research during the 60s and lOs. Scientific community was devoted to satellite systems, due to its higher efficiency and betier channel performance. At te begñxning of te 80's, progress lii anti-satellite activity made military forces understand that satellite systems could be put out of service by un enemy action in a very easy way. As a result of that, current NATO interests seem to be a bybrid HF/satellite Li ibis article, a new Advanced Digital HF Communications System is presented.
