Eikón/Imago adopts the Continuous Publication Model

We are pleased to inform our readers and authors that Eikón/Imago is going to adopt, the Continuous Article Publication model (CAP) for its articles and reviews, starting with its next issue (vol. 13 2024). Under this model, papers submitted to Eikón/Imago will be published eventually on the journal’s website on an individual basis, once they pass the blind peer review and the editing and layout processes are completed, without having to wait for the annual publication of the full issue. In this way, works can receive citations earlier than under the previous model. From June 2023, all articles and reviews accepted for publication for the 2024 issue will be published progressively, with their publication date set for January 2024, when the full issue will be eventually published.

In addition to increasing the citation of published works, this change will increase the journal's website traffic, offering new content to our readers on a more frequent basis. By doing so, we hope to foster the growth of our journal and continue to increase its impact factor in databases and systems of evaluation.
