Peer Review Process
The Editorial Board will ensure that the research papers that will be published in the journal have been evaluated by at least two recognized specialists in the field outside the institution, and that such evaluation has been fair and impartial. In addition, we will submit all shipments to a plagiarism verification process through the Turnitin program. The method used in the evaluation by the double-blind peer review system will be made public, which preserves the anonymity of the authors of the article as well as that of its evaluators. When both evaluations are discordant, a third evaluation will be requested to solve the tie.
The Editorial Team will take special care that the evaluators control the originality and veracity of the articles, to avoid plagiarism, falsification or manipulation of data. The Editorial Team will appreciate the contribution of the evaluators of the papers submitted to the journal, and will try to encourage the academic authorities to recognize their peer review activities as part of the scientific process. Likewise, it will dispense with those who carry out evaluations of low quality, incorrect, disrespectful or delivered outside of the established deadlines.
