Socialisation and effectiveness of the right to information in Mexico
Abstract
Human rights, including the right to information, have had a significant legislative and institutional development both internationally and domestically in Mexico. However it was found that despite the recognition of this human right in legislation and the creation of means of defense, the right to information has not achieved its full effect. The socialization of human rights and, in particular, of the right to information arises here as important means for the achievement of the effectiveness of this particular human right, which involves the joint participation of society and government.
