Abstract

With the aim of contributing to the analysis of the socioeconomic consequences of the impact of unemployment and labour precariousness on mental health, this article briefly revises literature about harmful effects of unemployment and temporality on subjective wellness and illustrates these effects through an analysis of aggregate indicators. Thereby, we try to contrast the main results of academic literature changing the usual approach of the analysis (microeconomic and focused on just one territory) for another at country level, from aggregate indicators available in international statistical sources.
