Labour mobility of Romanians in Andalusia
Abstract
This qualitative article aims to examine the working and mobility conditions of people from Romania in Andalusia, analysing the strategies and livelihoods employed since their arrival in this region. The information comes from 42 semi-structured in-depth interviews with people aged between 18 and 51. This article makes two contributions. First, it develops the mobility paradigm on the basis of life experiences. Secondly, the findings show the difficulties for the group to stabilise their employment situation over time, which leads them to move around the region.
