Other wage organizations in the face of trade union decline. Two examples
Abstract
This work raises several reflections maintained by certain groups of workers who, without and with affiliation, have collectively and salary self-organized in the face of the supposed loss of influence of the union, which could link them to another stage of confirmation of the transforming capacity of unionism, at a complex time for the so-called class unions, which are adapting to the changes experienced by the labor market. In addition, both types of organizations - class and new- feed into each other: positively, equating themselves as social experimenters, and negatively, since their respective ways of approaching union utopias seem to distance them. For its development, we have relied on the critical analysis of the available literature, as well as on the study of primary sources of the organizations under study. The main conclusion is the existence of sufficient elements to hope that these new organizations will carry out transformations by forcing a rethinking of the classic criteria of action of the majority unions.
