Abstract
La pasada primavera tuve la suerte de hacer un viaje en bicicleta por el interior de Murcia. Un urbanita al uso —como este que escribe— víctima de la propaganda idealizada de “el campo” esperaría encontrar allí idílicas imágenes de “la huerta” que nos alimenta: un vergel repleto de preciosos campos de pimientos, melocotoneros y ciruelos, donde cualquier viajero podría ir arrancando y zampando sobre la marcha jugosas y abundantes frutas. Mientras, en mi bici, podría ir saludando a auténticos “campesinos” de toda la vida que cultivan “su tierra” y, en las paradas, me contarían sus historias de antiquísimos saberes y tradiciones rurales.
