Ser noble en la España de Alfonso XIII
Abstract
From 1914, the number of ennoblements during the kingdom of Alfonso XIII was especially high. The interest of the process was given by the strategies developed in it: on the one hand, the King pretended to establish references all around the country and, on the other hand, the candidates who looked for the distinction. The investigation about these ennoblements approaches us to a social group many times forgotten by Spanish historiography, which did not stand aside of modernization.Downloads
