La negociación concordataria y el proceso constituyente durante la Transición
Abstract
The objective of this article is to provide some coordinates which can help to explain the religious question during the constituent period of the democratic transition. Especially, it would like to explain in what way the revision of the Agreement between Spain and the Holy See of 1953 linked up with the constitutional debate. Understanding the documents of the Foreign Office and the Parliament Archives, and also the Episcopal documents found in Spanish dioceses’ and archdioceses’ Boletines Oficiales, this work tries to show that the agreements which UCD respectively sealed with AP and PSOE, during the constitutional debate, are the basis both of the agreements between Spain and the Holy See, signed in January 1979, and of democratic Spain’s education policy’s logic.Downloads
