Historia social e historia cultural (Sobre algunas publicaciones recientes)
Abstract
The main objective of this paper is to examine and criticize the theoretical attitudes on social history visible in Spain during recent years. The first theme is related to the defence of the classical view of social history, against the threat of cultural history, presented in a special issue of the leading journal in the field, Historia Social. The second topic is about the new theory of the so-called “Postsocial history”, radically opposed to the traditional opinion. The criticism is based on an attitude in which social history and cultural history are intimately bound.Downloads
