Proceso de integración de las redes telefónicas de San Sebastián y Guizpúzcoa en la CTNE
Abstract
This article is a synthesis of research Work, which is based on direct testimonies, primary sources and specialized documents, on a not very well-known aspect of the history of communications in Spain: the origins, at the beginning of the 20th Century, of a modest provincial phone network; its vicissitudes, under different political regimes, throughout six decades, during which, emulating a certain Gallic village that heroically resisted the Roman invader, it fought not to succumb to the sudden attacks of the powerful company that, with this only exception, exercised the telephone monopoly in this country up to recent times; this unequal battle, lasted until the pro-Franco dictatorship began to weaken.Downloads
