History and Comic books. Interview with David Fernández de Arriba.
Abstract
David Fernández de Arriba, has a degree in Humanities from the Pompeu Fabra University in the specialty of History. He is professor of Social Sciences in Secondary Education and professor of the History and Comic subject at the University of Valencia. Passionate about the world of comics and its historical and autobiographical side, he has managed to combine passion and profession through his blog Historia y comic and the publication Memoria y viñetas. La memoria histórica en el aula a través del cómic, among other outstanding projects. For this reason, we have considered that he is the most suitable person to reflect on the past, present and future relationships and interactions that exist between history and comics, the objective of this issue of Cuadernos de Historia Contemporánea.
