Abstract

This article aims to analyse the story and the narrative of the presentation of Madrid as Guest of Honour at the Guadalajara International Book Fair 2017. We intend to analyse the chronological dimension and the configuration dimension in the Official Program of Madrid as Guest of Honour to understand how the Mayor’s Office in Madrid codifies and transmits a specific image of the city and how it is performed in the Fair through speeches, actions and events articulated around a common story.
