Abstract
The portrayal of character Pedro Fernández de Quirós and Spain are analyzed through press and British-Australian historiography, in relation with the national construction process, starting before the Federation of the Australian colonies in the late 19th Century, until the termination of legal ties with Great Britain, during the second half of the 20th Century.Downloads
