Abstract

Spanish Civil War’s historiography has been transformed in the last decades, and Violence Studies has been one of its protagonists. But there still is a long way to go, even within this topic. This paper proposes the study of the home front as a way to complete the knowledge of the conflict and the violence phenomenon through the study of Madrid during the Civil War.
