Abstract

This article hopes to analyze the screen version that Pier Paolo Pasolini did in the 70’s about Boccaccio’s book Il Decameron. To that we use a few theorical notes about what semiotics says on traduction, basing on the ideas of the linguist Roman Jakobson; expressing the screen version of a text like a transmutation or a signs’ traduction. Once we had considered this point, we will analyze the passage in the film where it is shown the fifth tail in the fourth day, which has as main character Lisabetta da Messina.
