Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyse the transposition process from short narrative to dramatic literature in Pirandello. We will study the plays Il giuoco delle parti and Quando s’è capito il giuoco. The first part of the work is dedicated to the psicological differences in characters of both plays, and the changes in their names and functions. Finally we will make a scenic composition anlysis in order to determinate if in the narrative text lays a scenic structure.
