Note per una lettura sacrale dei David pasoliniani
Abstract
The palimpsestic series David bears witness to the history of Pasolini’s writing throughout his career, from his earliest to latest works. This literary work best represents Pasolini’s oeuvre in which he rewrites Friulian poems employing a palinode technique. My contribution deals with one of the only two poems where the specular inversion is demonstrated through variants that stylistically articulate the process of rewriting. Within a framework of references consonant with the themes of death-rebirth rites and the semantic role of the mortuary topos, this work presents the entire corpus through the analysis of minimal variants. It demonstrates their value in the construction of a self-textuality and illustrates the intertext of the twelve fragments of Friulian originals and the Italian versions.
