Abstract
An essential aspect to analyze any radio station is to know its technological equipment, and if we talk about university stations this is even more valuable, on the one hand, because of its potential training of future of communication professionals and on the other hand, because of its capacity of experimentation and innate innovation to these institutions . The aim of this study is to know the technical production tools used by Spanish university broadcasters. With this purpose, we have proposed a quantitative research to identify the most common instruments in university radio stations and to compare them with those which are used in a real work context. The main conclusion is that the university stations are equipped with professional technical means that can be found in a conventional radio station. This allow students to manipulate sound and to discover the possibilities of the radio language. In this way, the radio products made by the students involved in the stations contribute to strengthen their educational and formative trajectory.Downloads
