Development of a supranational Institute for the protection of archives and audiovisual collections for Latin America and the Caribbean
Abstract
The work that identifies key elements for the creation of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Audiovisual Heritage, UNESCO project presented to implement a tool Institute serve to safeguard the main contents of audiovisual collections presented region. At work the opportunity is identified, the need and the structure, organization and objectives of the Institute. Also some supranational institutions that could finance and maintain over time an institution that has the purpose of preserving the memory and Audiovisual Heritage of Latin American countries are identified. The aim therefore is to identify the characteristics of an institution for the preservation of audiovisual and sound collections that are at risk in Latin America.Downloads
