“Abcfoto”. ABC’s daily newspaper documental photographic project

Abstract
“Abc” daily newspaper is one of Spain’s most influential newspapers. Photography has always been of great importance for “Abc” since its beginning in 1903. The ceremony of presentation of “AbcFoto” project took place in April 3rd, 2014, during the First International Conference for Documentary Photography, organized by UCM’s Facultad de Ciencias de la Documentación. This project will allow users to find any printed or digital image, in either “Abc“newspaper or “Blanco y Negro” magazine. The object of this work is make the project public, as well as the data base structure, the operation system and the documentary analysis of the pictures.Downloads
