Abstract

The morphology of spore, the exine ornamentation, patterns of spore germination and the protonema development of Sphagnum magellanicum Brid., S. fimbriatum Wilson and S. cuspidatum Hoffm. is studied. The specimens were collected in different Andino-patagonian peatlands from Argentine.
