Abstract
RIFÓN-LASTRA, A. & NOGUEROL-SEOANE, A. 2001. Some new or poor known Chlorellaceae in the Iberian Peninsula. Bot. Complutensis 25: 165-177. A survey of the algal flora that colonizes the granite walls of buildings in Galicia (NW Spain), has revealed the presence of six taxa included in the group of Chlorellaceae that are new or few reported for the Iberian Peninsula: Lobosphaeropsis lobophora (Andreeva) Ettl et Gärtner, Chlorella ellipsoidea Gerneck, C. luteoviridis Chodat in Conrad et Kufferath, Elliptochloris subsphaerica (Reisigl) Ettl et Gärtner, Chlorolobion lunulatum Hindák and Keratococcus bicaudatus (A. Braun) J.B. Petersen. Descriptions and illustrations are provided for all of these taxa as well as data on its ecology and distribution. Their taxonomy and morphological variability are commented.Downloads
