The Andean plants collection from William Jameson (1796-1873) preserved in the Real Colegio Alfonso XII (San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Madrid)
Abstract
Among the collections preserved in the Herbarium found at the Alfonso XII Royal College in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid) [RCAXII] we found 43 Herbarium sheets sent by William Jameson to Mariano de la Paz Graells in 1859; all present indications of their location, but some of them are not identified at specific level. In this paper we present these materials, along with their transcribed labels and comments about them and Jameson, the person who retrieved them.Downloads
