The madrilenian urban horizont: beyond the administrative region
Abstract
In the new capitalist age the urban region has became fundamental geographical units. The urban region recognised as critical foundations of the development process as a whole has motivated the region as an essential dimension of the development process. Later it took a run up limit concept how to frame to actions and performance about competitivity, cohesion and sustainability. This article proposes a new analysis of the limits of The Madrid Urban Region beyond the administrative region. The indicators uses are commuting and population growth and housing spread. These indicators mapping in a counties scale would enhance represented a new Madrid urban horizon. It includes continuous and different provinces Avila, Segovia, Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo and it has almost seven million inhabitants.Downloads
