Abstract
Forests fires occur in Mexico mainly from January to April. In 1998, an extended drought produced catastrophic fires. In this paper digital techniques and teledetection methods combined with a SIG were used to help evaluate the population areas affected by smoke plumes in Central Mexico.Downloads
