In Europe and Central Asia, the European Union, Latin America, North America, the Middle East and North Africa, the urban population has increased over the different decades evaluated. In the year 2020 in Argentina 92.1% of the population lives in urban areas, in Libya 80.6%, Australia 86.4%, Chile 87.7%, Colombia 81.4%, United States 82.6%. It is inferred that by the year 2050, in most countries of the world, the urban population will be above 60%.
