Territorial dynamics of the transition towards peace: a look from the Jimmy Tatamá reincorporation area of the Santa Cecilia Corregimiento in Pueblo Rico, Risaralda (Colombia)
Abstract
This article examines the process of perception that the reincorporating subject settled in the NAR Jimmy Tatamá, deploys on the implementation of the peace agreement in Colombia. Perceptions that are linked to territoriality in physical (spatial measurements) and symbolic (topologies) terms. Unraveling this process involved the use of in-depth semi- structured interviews with members of the NAR, people who hold both leadership and grassroots positions within their organizational forms. Likewise, it was necessary to review documents that support the perceptual gaze of the inhabitant and broaden the critical reading of the transitional moment. From there, perceptual processes rooted in this context were recognized, be it for their approaches to rural development, for their positions on the territorial political model, for the growing criticism of the reincorporation process or, for the lack of materialization of the points that make up the agreement on rurality.
