Insitutional commitment to vulnerable neighbourhoods
Abstract
This article focuses on the strategies developed by international and Spanish institutions to analyze and address the challenges of vulnerable neighborhoods. The methodology employed is deductive and is based on the review of theoretical data through techniques for analyzing bibliographic, documentary, and cartographic sources. The results highlight the specific commitment adopted to urban vulnerability at the institutional level and emphasize its impact on the formulation of initiatives and strategies within the Spanish context. The conclusions underscore how the contributions of international institutions and initiatives promoted by the European Union have left a significant mark on Spain's commitment to addressing the issue of vulnerable neighborhoods.
