Ensuring a Blind Review

To ensure the integrity of the blind peer review check if the following requirements are met:

• The authors of the document have removed their names from the text, using "Author" and year in references and footnotes, instead of the author's name, article title, etc.
• With Microsoft Office documents, the identity of the author must also be removed from the file properties. Instructions: In the main menu of the Microsoft application: File > Save As > Tools/Options > Security > Remove personal information from file properties when saving > Save.
• With PDFs, the author's name must also be removed from the Document Properties found under File in the main menu of Adobe Acrobat.
