Abstract

This paper examines Camille Laurens’s novels that include representations of translation and translators, whether through sporadic, metaphorical use, as in the first texts we will go through, or in her transfictions, such as Romance (1992) and Fille (2020), where the protagonists are translators. The aim of this paperis to explain the author's preferred representation of both translator and translation, so as to identify their connotations and possible effectsof this theme on the author’s writings.
