Abstract
This article proposes to study the historical and symbolic impact of the inauguration speech delivered by Princess Marthe Bibesco at the Royal Academy of Belgium at in 1955. It examines in particular the significance of the symbolic place occupied by Marthe Bibesco, a French-Romanian writer within the literary space of Francophone Belgium.Downloads
