Abstract
La 2a edición de Sociología de la infancia viene a robustecer y actualizar esta subdisciplina sociológica que también se ha denominado el campo (Bourdieu, 2003) de los estudios de infancia, incorporando avances y (auto) críticas producidas desde 2006 a la fecha. Lourdes Gaitán es una de las fundadoras del campo hispanoamericano, trabajadora social y Dra. en sociología con una destacada experiencia en intervención, políticas públicas e investigación científica y recientemente ha sido galardonada con el Premio Librepensadora de InfoLibre (Infolibre, 2025, 44mm06s).
