De omweg naar Santiago / El desvío a Santiago de Cees Nooteboom

Abstract

En el libro de viajes El desvío o Santiago (1992) el autor neerlandés Cees Nooteboom da cuenta de su recorrido en coche por tierras españolas. En sus diferentes trayectos se desvía continuamente de su meta final: Santiago. El presente artículo pretende ofrecer una visión de aquellos elementos que son una constante en el libro, de su lenguaje a la hora de describir los espacios interiores y exteriores, de la búsqueda incesante de lo que permanece tras el paso del tiempo y de cómo se siente parte integrante y partícipe del espacio que describe.
