Estratègies discursives iròniques en la narrativa catalana actual: l'autoconsciència textual

Abstract

Departing from some texts by Jesús Moncada, Quim Monzó, Carme Riera. Ramon Solsona and Sergi Pàmies, this paper analyses the existence of a trend, in the Catalan short narrative, which happens to us metafiction ressources, adapting them to the literay interests and to each author’s style, but with a shared general aim. It is a clearly non-realistic trend and with a full textuality conscience which explicits fiction’s procedures; a kind of ironic discourse that wonders about the possibilities and the limits of how to represent what is real and, shortly, about what we think it is real.
