Abstract
In this article, as it is indicated in the title, the author studies the regional speech of La Mancha. To place the reader in context, first, he presents a brief historical and geographical panorama of the region. Later, he analyzes the linguistic features of the speakers across the different levels of the system. Finally, he offers a representative sample of the sings and proverbs that traditionally have been integral part of the most genuine manifestations of the speech and the popular culture of the land.Downloads
