Espacio sensorial y lirismo cósmico en la Obra Poética de L. S. Senghor
Abstract
The present article studies how the poetic voice of L.S.Senghor stems from a sensual and emotional experience of the world, which is transcribed in a profusion of synthesized correspondences and cosmic images. As seen in both his poetic texts (Obra poética) and his metadiscursive writings (Liberté I-V), this analogy of a human-cosmos hybridization is the product of a double inheritance that reveals to him the transcendence of the sensory universe: on one hand, his “African” experience of the world; on the other, the lessons of the French cosmic poets, the heirs to nineteenth century symbolism.Downloads
