Abstract

This work analyses parts of the Roman du comte d’Anjou by Jean Maillart (1316) in which the characters miss the pleasure for eating good, and establishes parallelisms with other literary works, such as La Belle Hélène de Constantinople (anonymous) and La Manekine by Philippe de Remy.
