Abstract

In spite of the numerous studies dedicated to the Romance future, some aspects of its morphology well are not known. Here it will be examined the imperfect future of the indicative like the conditional one, because from the morphologic point of view they have identical behavior. We try, mainly, to analyze the consequences of the loss of the tonic vowel by the root of the Infinitive and, between these, specially blackout and the epéntesis, to try to determine which are the factors that prevent and favor these phenomen. For the Spanish, it will mainly be examined the chronology and geography of the epéntesis. For it there are close friend ample corpus textual, because they are forms not too frequent.
