Abstract
El Arte del romance castellano (1769) de B. de San Pedro es la primera gramática del siglo XVIII con pretensión de modernidad. Su autor recibe la influencia del racionalismo de Port-Royal y de la tradición gramatical española, sobre todo a través de G. Correas. En este contexto, sostiene que el adverbio modifica no solamente al verbo, sino también al adjetivo o al participio, y reduce su número de clases.Downloads
