Dante online: electronic resources related to the study of Dante and the dissemination of his work
Abstract
On 14th September 2021 it will be 700 years since Dante Alighieri’s death, and seven centuries later the fascination with his figure and his work has not ceased to grow. Thanks to the various projects and activities that have been arising to celebrate the centenary, the presence of the Florentine poet and his work has strongly intensified this year. In addition to the already numerous online resources devoted to the study of Dante’s work, a large quantity of conference sessions, symposiums, lecturae dantis, dissemination proposals and other activities, some of them at international level, are taking place on the occasion of the seventh centenary. This article reviews some of the resources about Dante Alighieri that are available online and that stand out because of their usefulness, wide scope, and originality.
