Abstract

In the Cancionero de Llavia two dezires of Gonzalo Martínez de Medina are included: “Dime quién eres tu grande Aníbal” [86* RL-19; ID 0511]; and “Por desconoscentia se perdió la luz” [86* RL-20; ID 6005], on which no study has been carried out, at least of a monographic nature, thus constituting its analysis the primary objective of this work. The knowledge of this poetic work has been done almost only through the Cancionero de Baena, thus being essential a study of these two dezires, which is not in it, and that are the only two known specimens outside of the same. Likewise, his analysis in the Cancionero de Llavia shows his perfect integration in him, providing fundamental data on the distinctive poetic traits of Gonzalo Martínez.
