The graphic representation of Latin consonant clusters from a corpus of medieval manuscripts from the southern of Ávila
Abstract
The aim of this study is to describe spellings of Latin consonant clusters from a corpus of medieval Castilian (15th century) from a small area in southern Avila. This geographical area currently has some very distinctive linguistics features from the northern Castilian, which is the reason behind our interest in manuscripts written in the past. This article analyzes the graphic or phonetic treatment of certain implosive consonants present in these groups.Downloads
