Abstract
In this article we will outline the traces of the History of the 20th century in the construction of the national identity of those countries located in that Europe that we called Eastern. The Bulgaria of the 80s becomes the scene of a forbidden and sickly love story that crosses borders. Nous dînerons en français, the latest novel by Albéna Dimitrova, thus becomes the standard of a lived experience tinged with literary fiction and the privileged witness of an era marked by totalitarian policies and the search for identity.Downloads
