Some considerations of the term ‘Toy’

Abstract

Basing on the case study of the Catalan language, we propose to undertake an analysis of the semantic field extension of the term ‘joguina’ (‘toy’), from the first documentation to its greatest transformation of meaning in the era of bourgeois revolutions.
