An insight into "El habla de Segurilla" (1973) from a modern perspective
Abstract
This study provides an insight into El habla de Segurilla, one of the dissertations supervised by Dr. Alonso Zamora Vicente in the early 1970s in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the Complutense University of Madrid. The author describes the linguistic landscape of the village, located about seven kilometres from Talavera de la Reina, in the province of Toledo, and its close ties to its geographical location, the living conditions of its speakers and the socio-cultural setting at the time.Downloads
